Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our continuous manufacturing facility based at South Brisbane.
This is a 5-week rotating shift roster over 7 days. Hours: 35 hours per week, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Adhere to all Work, Safety & Environment policies, and procedures.
- Attend to palletiser alarms and carry out any required trouble shooting activities.
- Movement of palletised finished products with a forklift to storage bays
- Use of RF scanner & tablet
- Carry out ongoing quality checks
- General housekeeping duties
What you will bring to the team:
- A valid forklift ticket.
- Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift working within a fast-paced environment.
- RF scanning/SAP experience highly regarded.
- Excellent verbal communication, a strong safety focus, and a self-driven attitude is a must.
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift roster.
