Job Scope
- Lead, oversee, and manage the Container Depot Department across multiple locations.
- Take accountability for the department's Profit and Loss (P&L) performance.
- Continuously evaluate pricing policies to maintain competitiveness and propose adjustments as needed.
- Cultivate strong customer service relationships with both current and prospective clients.
- Gather market insights through regular interactions with customers and provide relevant feedback.
- Meet all contractual obligations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with customers.
- Focus on customer retention while actively pursuing opportunities to expand the department's business.
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers.
- Address feedback from haulers, consignees, and other stakeholders related to container depot operations.
- Participate in operational meetings with shipping agents to plan and execute efficient workflows.
- Optimize resource utilization within the department.
- Identify potential safety hazards in operational areas and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Promote a culture of safety among staff and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Fulfill any other duties and responsibilities assigned periodically.
